SEGMENTED PEN TURNING

Mark’s class will be an off-the-lathe demonstration showing various techniques of making segmented pen blanks using four different woods and a band saw to make a truly one-of-a-kind pen blank.

Biography

Mark started turning in 2011 and is a member of AAW, the Hunt County Woodturners, PenTurner.org and the Trinity river Woodworking Club. His focus has been mainly on small mandrel turned items such as pens, keychains, seam ripper and bottle stoppers.

He like to experiment with different materials to make pens including acrylics, popsicle sticks, corian and deer antlers.
